experimental too, even my old paintings from student times, in the sense of dictionary’s definition when says experimental is
something based on untested ideas or techniques and not yet established or finalized. And also in the archaic definition, that
is:experimental seen as something based on experience, spontaneous
experience, as opposed to authority or conjecture… well, then all my books, paintings, drawings, films or even private relationships
are basically (and happily) experimental.”

However, Charif produces a lot of strictly experimental works, in some cases with techniques of his own invention and mixing diverse languages.
